Ricardo is an Australian Legal Practitioner, former Judge and Dean of Law in his native El Salvador, Central America. He is the roll of Lawyers and Notaries of the Salvadorean Supreme Court.
He studied English and Law at Queensland University of Technology, and graduated with a Master of Laws degree in 1995. Ricardo completed law studies at the University of New England and the College of Law as well .
Ricardo is admitted to practice law in Queensland, New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. His areas of practice include: Commercial, Property, Administrative and Migration law. He is a registered Migration Agent with over 20 years of extensive expertise in all visa classes and appeals to specialised Tribunals.
He is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries,the International Union of Notaries and the Australian member of IURISGAL .
Ricardo is an active member of various community organisations. He is the Past President of the Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd. (MCCGC) and former member on the Executive Committee and Regional Chair of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia (FECCA).
In recognition of his contribution to the Multicultural Communities in Queensland he was awarded a Queensland Government Award in 2011 as Highly Commended Outstanding Volunteer.

Erin Kim GradDipLP, JD
Erin completed her Juris Doctor at Bond University and completed her Professional Legal Training with Viana Lawyers. She has a background in communication and marketing in South Korea. She was admitted as a practicing lawyer in 2017.
During her studies Erin volunteered at Gold Coast Community legal centre, assisting with various family law matters including Domestic Violence Order applications.
Erin has firsthand experience of the migration process which eventually developed into a keen interest in immigration law.

Kiara is currently studying a double degree of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business at Queensland University of Technology.
She completed her high school education at A. B Paterson College, graduating with a Student Service award for her commitment to the college community and leadership shown when interacting with younger students.

Christina recently joined our team, and is currently studying the Diploma of Migration and Practice at Griffith University, together with completing her practical legal training at Viana Lawyers. Christina graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Irish Law) at Griffith College, Dublin. She also completed the Law Society of Ireland admission exams. Christina has previously worked as a legel executive in a top 5 law firm in Dublin.
Christina will be aiding our team in all immigration matters.

George Von Waidkuns-Velasquez LLB
George completed his law degree at the Queensland University of Technology and he has a Post Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. He was admitted to The Supreme Court of Queensland and The High Court of Australia.
George has ample experience in international contract law representing major companies in Argentina, Chile Brazil, Uruguay and Spain.
In Queensland, he assisted the Chamber of Commissioners and the Registry of the Fair Work Australia Tribunal particularly in the framing of Enterprise Agreements.
George has over 6 years experience in the field of workplace relations, employee relations and industrial relations, working on many important issues in these fields.
George worked as consultant, legal advisor and negotiator at a number of organizations, specializing in workplace relations in Queensland and Western Australia. As a lawyer he brought a unique blend of organizational pragmatism and legal risk minimization.
As a lawyer, he represented and advised employers, employees and unions in many and varied areas of employment and workplace relations law. George was involved in major negotiations of enterprise agreements with local government departments and unions.
